It had beautiful in indirect ambient lighting l e d. It was modern and clean and I had the use of a kitchen in my room which saved me a lot of money from eating out in iceland. It's very conveniently located near downtown walkable. The staff was amazing , very young , very enthusiastic and caring took care...

"Temperature of room was very difficult to regulate. Thermostats had signs on them to not adjust temperature, but room got extremely warm and only way to lower the temp. was to open windows and doors. However, the windows barely opened so only effective way was to open front door and balcony door to provide airflow."

"The Black Pearl is conveniently located to many walkable areas such as shopping, the Harpa, the waterfront, museums and the bus stop (which is helpful for pickups to excursions like the spas or pony trecking). Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and we appreciated the king size bed which is hard to find in most hotels. Be aware that the hotel is on a street with restaurants and pubs which can be noisy at night, especially since we visited during the summer when it never gets dark...
