"Not a fancy, upscale resort but a unique little Inn decorated with cute antiques and cozy furnishings…which we loved! Great location!…just a short walk to the beach or Carlsbad Village. We would definitely stay here again!"
"This is our second summer staying at the Ocean Palms and we love it! Proximity to the beach can’t be beat. We love the hot tub and pool too. We also appreciate the ability to borrow towels and boogie boards because it makes our beach trips so much easier! "
"No dirty old carpet but new laminate floors. Lighting was terrific. We could actually read a book. The staff was receptive to any request. I was concerned there would be noise from the freeway but once doors were closed noise was minimal. Beds were fine. Not top grade but not lumpy or saggy. Slept just fine."

Our room was large, VERY clean and nicely decorated. We had a refrigerator, microwave and safe. The bed was quite comfortable, and we both slept well. The hotel offers a full breakfast every morning with made-to-order omelettes and a large variety of additional breakfast options. Everything was delicious.
