"Very nice location with excellent views of the sea. Beaches are full of rocks, so very dangerous as water is very rough. Place is extremely old and needs to be updated. No water pressure at all when you shower. They have sea water pools at the beach but they are full of algae and are very slippery. Food is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The walking trails are beautiful but bring walking shoes for your safety! The sunset was espectacular!!"

"The staff was very helpful and room was very clean—liked the king sized bed and that the shower had hot water—rare along the El Salvador coast. Pool and location next to beach was nice as well. Free room service was a good touch also. Hotels.com site misleads a little. The Deluxe King suite does not have an ocean view, nor does it have a bathtub in the room, as the photos show on the listing. There’s only one room on the whole property that has all those things, which we did not find out until we got there—their VIP suite. The internet/WiFi connection is very poor, so their TV consistently froze up when it was used. We also had to call maintenance to get the toilet repaired twice—for such a pricey hotel, not sure so much effort needed to be put into that. Overall, a good stay, but for the cost, would expect more."

"The staff were very rude and not helpful, they act like they are all that just because they are the only resort next to the beach, not coming back , After we finished getting up from breakfast, I overheard one of the servers tell another server “It was about time they left” We are not coming back to the Cameron"

"Mi estadía en Amalfi Surf Lodge fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como en casa, con un ambiente cálido, limpio y muy acogedor. La tranquilidad que se vive allí es realmente especial, perfecta para desconectarse y relajarse por completo. Disfruté muchísimo de toda la naturaleza que rodea el lugar, especialmente de las hermosas aguas del río, que hacen que la experiencia sea aún más mágica y única. Sin duda, un lugar al que me encantaría regresar y que recomiendo totalmente para quienes buscan paz, naturaleza y una experiencia auténtica."

Every morning offered fresh, flavorful options and was the perfect way to start the day. The peaceful atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service made our visit memorable. "The room was very unique and the pool was so nice. They offered free breakfast and free yoga which was great. I loved these aspects of the hotel. However, I wanted to shower one night and the shower didn’t even work. It was very inconvenient. The hotel staff wasn’t able to fix it until the following day. We ended up showering in another room, although we slept in our own room after. It was a very stressful evening that overshadowed an otherwise nice stay."
