"This was our second stay at the Palazzo Schiavoni and was every bit as fantastic as the first time. The location is perfect. Close enough to St Mark's Square yet not too close to be too busy. It's a very short walk to the water bus stop to get over to Murano which we love. Lots of fantastic restaurants very close by. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained and the welcome and service is amazing. We had a 2 bed suite. The size was good, bathroom and kitchen were spotless and of very high standards. We will definitely return one day."

"Room had air conditioning which was the highlight of our stay. The bathroom was not connected to the room and was very hot and uncomfortable to use. This is a church which is also used as a hotel. Elevator was not serviced since 2008 and had a very quick closing time - beware. Also, can get locked in bathroom."

"The hotel was in a great location and was in good condition. To use the air conditioner you had to leave the room key in a slot in the room to keep it running. Breakfast was good it was more than a continental breakfast. The Rialto bridge was where we used public transportation, it was less than a 10 minute walk away."

"The upper floor was not air conditioned, so even though my room was air conditioned it was still warm. The hotel is on a quieter square but close to all the sights. It was nice to be away from the crowds but close to the sights. Thr room had a fridge which was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend."
