We were visiting the Beamish museum and the whole area was good. People very friendly.
Quiet northern village.
A trip to The Emirates Riverside to watch the cricket, and we had 2 great nights at the Moorings. Lovely friendly staff, great meals and drinks , very comfy bed, and room. Special mention to Ron,s Taxi, who took us to and back from the cricket.
Food while been excellent didn’t have a great choice
