"The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay."

"A great place to stay only 10 minutes from railway station and a further 10 minute from town centre. All the staff friendly, helpful, welcoming and advising of walks, bar/restaurant. Around the corner of the B & B is a street with many small shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and mini markets."

"My mother and I stayed in a room with two queen beds. Very clean, beds were so comfortable, we both had a tremendous night sleep. The air con was a little slow but worked all the same. The staff on both days we're helpful, very polite and kind. The breakfast was hot and fresh and staff were responsive to our needs as well as the needs of others with clearing plates, getting extra bread, to go cups etc. Only criticism i can make is the bar didn't take cash and we don't really use card. "I liked the location right on the banks of the river also the free parking in a prime location. Didn't like the hit and miss breakfast, at our first breakfast everything was well overcooked almost inedible, but our second day breakfast was cooked to perfection ! go figure"

It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. "Loved this hotel. Great atmosphere and location. The rooms are excellent and the staff are great. The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. The parking is very limited as expected in a central location. Otherwise there were no issues. Parking at the station is reasonably priced and only a 5 minute walk."

"北Walesに入る前泊として、60代夫婦が宿泊したホテルです。当日は列車が大幅に遅延したため、チェックインがその日のラスト一組だった私たちでしたが、快く迎え入れてくれました。 何よりも嬉しかったのは、ウェルカムドリンクとして、ワイン一本を無料でプレゼントしてくれたことです。 部屋には扇風機が設置されていて、快適に部屋内での時間を過ごせました。大型画面のテレビにて、サッカー・ワールドカップの試合も、迫力満点の映像で楽しめました。 チェスター駅からは少し離れているので、駅とホテルの往復にはタクシーの利用がおすすめです。(£5.5〜6.5くらいでした)"

"Good location and most of the staff will go out of their way to be as helpful as possible. The WiFi coverage is inconsistent with blind WiFi spot in the hotel. Standard breakfast including hot cooked breakfast. While the room is dated and the mattress probably need replacement soon, it was clean. No air-conditioning but had a table fan which it is greatly appreciated."
