"Such great hotel all around. Great location, I had a beautiful view from my 10th floor room. I traveled solo and felt very safe at the Civilian. Walking distance to Broadway shows, Central Park, Hell' Kitchen and Times Square! Staff was also so helpful and welcoming."

"Hotel was lovely, we were a family of 4 and stayed in a connecting room overlooking Broadway. Super clean bedrooms with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pastries and coffee were very tasty from the bakery next door for breakfast served by very friendly staff. Could have perhaps offered slightly more than $10 though. All in all a fantastic hotel."

"The hotel wins on Location, Location, Location! Close to Central Park EVERYTHING is within walking distance without the noise and hassle of being in Times Square or in the middle of nowhere where. We spent five nights here and it was perfect for our needs - Broadway is close by and there are plenty of places to eat at all times of day and night and there is even a 24 hour supermarket with fresh fruit and pastries across the road. The staff at the hotel were great in particular the door staff....

"Overall I give them like a 4.3! The property was clean, easily walkable to the shopping in the area and the food was good. I had the sea bass and it was quite tasty! The bar tenders were nice and the dinner service was good. The room was clean I think every other day so I didn’t get turn down service but that was ok."

"Though the room was on the smaller side (completely understand as we were in NYC), our family of 5 had a comfortable and lovely stay. Pros: So many! Very clean, modern room and bathroom, lots of places to store items in the room to keep the smaller space organized and neat, attentive and friendly staff, well organized and tasty breakfast, great price, very quiet in the rooms, fantastic location. "We had stayed here for our NY trip and when our flight home was cancelled (after we had already checked out and left), we chose to return and book a new room because we enjoyed the location so much. It is super convenient to walk to the park, restaurants, theaters, shops, etc. we highly recommend and would be happy to stay again in the future."
