"What a lovely place to stay! Stayed here for a night for work nearby. The room was pretty, the bed super comfortable, the temperature lovely and cosy, the bathroom toiletries and bed linens all super high quality. Wi-Fi was strong and meant I could work. But best of all, they really had thought of everything in the room… a thoughtful and plentiful hamper of breakfast items and treats; a mini fridge with fresh milk, juice, water, fruit and chocolate; a hairdryer; and even a pretty stone coaster...

"Really modest hotel, my teenage daughter described it as being cosy. The hotel was very clean, the double room was very large. Closet space was adequate. Tea and biscuits were provided in the room. Breakfast was freshly cooked full English, had choices of cereal and different teas. Was most pleased as my fav peppermint was on offer...never is at other hotels. It was in a very quiet area but with restaurant/takeout within a 1 minute walk, there is a Chinese opposite, Indian restaurant adjacent...

"On arrival staff were very welcoming. We were able to check in a little earlier and shown to our room and given all the info we needed for our stay. Quirky little pub with entrance to our room up a little staircase through the kitchen area. Stairs maybe a little tricky for some as they are quite steep. Our room was pretty basic (which we expected for a b&b and at the price range) but was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had a lovely view of the Quay too.
