"The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. "I showed up with my son afrter 10 hrs of driving and the middle eastern man at the front desk put us in a room that had bugs and dirt all over the sheets. There were holes in the walls also. When I told him about it he did put us in a cleaner room. The pool is empty as well. The property also double charged for the room and now trying to charge me a 3rd time. Very shady place and I don’t ever say this but I’d never stay here again"

"Front desk staff was very kind and helpful at ck in. We were told there would be a “limited breakfast” from6-9, it was completely gone when we got to the dining area at 8:30. The bathroom floor was not inviting and there was hair and debris all along the edges of the room. The beds were very clean and comfortable. It was sufficient for the one night we needed for passing through."

"Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and...

"Another lovely experience on our girls weekend to Tennessee. Friendly staff, helpful and fixed any issues we had ie) asked for clean linens after day 1 and didn’t get them but they quickly corrected the issue and delivered items to the room. Lovely breakfast options including gluten free items upon request!"
