"The shower in my room was broken and unusable, although I reported this to the hotel staff it remained that way for the 2 night stay I was booked in for, over a very hot weekend. I was disappointed that the shower was in the broken condition prior to my occupancy. "We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊"

"It was good for a one night stay before an early morning flight from Gatwick airport. Google Maps gave us walking instructions from south terminal but it wasn’t super easy to figure out how to find the right exit. The beds and room was very comfortable for the night. Didn’t interact much with the staff, they gave info on check in about a shuttle service you could pay for. It was smooth."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."
