"Would love to have known that this place was HAUNTED before booking. Also wasn’t told about hen AC units in the window before booking. Can’t use the blow dryer and AC without blowing the fuse. Lots of history which was cool. Walking distance to the hot springs"

"We recently returned to the Monarch after our previous stay was so enjoyable. This time however there was a dog next door to us that barked for hours in the middle of the night. After sharing our concerns with management we were assured we would be taken care of; come to find out their compensation was waiving the $34 resort fee. When I shared my disappointment in this resolution the staff replied with “best of luck in your future travels” … not the type of customer service I would expect...

We asked about the wellness center, they told us about the 10 min walk to get there. Upon arrival we were informed it’s a 25$ fee to get in. "The breakfast had a good variety but was often empty and not very hot. Also, do not be deceived by airport shuttle. They have a company you can hire service from. They do not have free airport shuttle."

"I was frustrated to hear about the parking fees at check-in, not when booking. Also, I prefer a paper receipt with charges listed at check out. I was refused and told an email would be issued which hasn't yet arrived, 3 days later. Charges have been billed but no statement explaining them."

"The mattress was the most uncomfortable I've encountered in a 4 star hotel you could feel the springs and there was a big dip in it..the bed itself was very rickety. The toilet sounded broken when you flushed. The food in all the restaurants was mediocre. We had big hopes as this was the first getaway my husband and I have been able to do since 2019. We wont be back to stay."

"Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful. Good location in Downtown Denver. No breakfast or coffee, but a few good places to grab breakfast near the hotel. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby for lunch, dinner and Happy Hour! I’d stay here again."

"I loved the Mountain View’s, how close it was to many of the local attractions such as Pikes Peak Cheyanne Zoo and Garden of the Gods. I would most definitely recommend staying here and include the breakfast buffet with your stay!"
