"First the receptionist was nice greeting us. After we refused her persuasion tonupgrade the room, she was super cold to us. When we asked question about breakfast and stuff she replied hesitantly.
The room was clean but the smoke smell was really bad eventhough we booked the non-smoking room.
We ordered Uber eats. You have to make sure you can receive it by yourself because mine were gone without no hotel staff knew or even care about it. I would not stay here again in the future."

"I was really impressed with the convenient amenities. From online check in with key card machines, to the texting assistant. We needed a few different things for our room and after texting with our assistant about our needs, someone was up to our room within 10-15 minutes every time. Very great service!
The room was mostly clean, just noticed a few things that were overlooked by housekeeping staff, nothing crazy.
Our duvet was stained up and didn’t look very appeasing, but we just texted and...

"Property is old. They are clearly trying to keep it up, but it's obviously had better days. With that said, Horseshoe is still an excellent deal. The rooms are well sized. Each has a fridge (rare on the strip), the bathrooms are updated with good showers and toilets (our sink was clogged and took a long while to drain... no big deal).
The old hallway carpets are worn and rippling.
Decent little food court in the basement with reasonably priced Subway. $5 beer at many casino bars (good deal)....
