"When walking into the Elk + Avenue Hotel the lobby is absolutely stunning, so you would expect the entire hotel to be that way... wrong. The rooms are budget at best. "Great views from the pool area! Very easy check-in process. Beds comfortable! Would have liked better lighting in rooms. Some rooms better than others in regards to updating etc. Overall staff was super nice, good housekeeping and great views from pools. Would return to stay there."

"Brewster's is central and staff are super friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. We got an upgrade but needed a cut lunch and 6 pack to get to room. Lol Room was warm, comfortable and added bonus, a balcony. So close to town central, buses and can walk to public transport easily. Breakfast was included and filled the void nicely however it is in an odd spot. Staff explained how to get there. Would I stay there again. Yes."

"Over priced and not so friendly staff"

"This is a very pretty hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was large and felt elegant. We had breakfast at the restaurant and our server was great and so was the food. It is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the downtown shopping and dining area. It is much less crowded than Banff, so it's nice to come back to after a day at Lake Louise or Banff etc. It also included free parking! We also thought it was reasonably priced."

"We booked our room as a king room. When we got to the property, we were told they upgraded us. After wandering around (it's difficult to find rooms) we found our "upgraded" room. It was very outdated, extremely small and had a spiral staicase to get to our bed. We are in out 60's and were to say the least not thrilled with this. Went to the front desk to say this is unacceptable. After having to get a little upset about this as were were staying for 5 days and could not manuver this...
