"Our stay would have been uneventful if we were not charged for an unused dinner coupon. When we checked in, that gentleman told us that they also own the hotel next door which has a restaurant and said that if we want to have dinner there, we could use a $15 coupon which he gave us along with free Roam passes for the public transit buses. We ate somewhere else and did not use the coupon. However, when we checked out the next morning, the girl said we have to pay $20 for the $15 coupon as it is...

"We had a pleasant enough stay at Bow View Lodge. The room was very clean, and we paid for an upgrade to a river-view room. The beds were very comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent, and we appreciate that we were visiting during peak season, which is I assume is reflected in the pricing. That said, we have stayed in much nicer accommodation for considerably less. The décor is quite dated, and the rooms could benefit from some updating. There was no air...

"There was no ac. We had the window open & you could hear yelling til the wee hours of the morning, which i normally don't mind because my windows are closed, but we couldn't close the window because there was no ac. Definitely not with the cost of the room."

"Loved our stay. The room was bigger than we thought it would be and well stocked for our trip. Nice to have a pool and walking trails right there! We will have to return in the fall to use the fireplace. Only wish there was AC as our room got pretty hot and being ground level it was hard to have the windows open at night with the bedroom being right there. All in all a great stay"

"Our room was great and the location was amazing because there was a shuttle provided by the hotel. It offered convenient in and out service to downtown Banff. We were disappointed in the amenities that were promised by the hotel. The pool, whirlpool, and the hot tub were dated and dirty. For the amount of money we paid per night, with 2 young children, we were looking forward to using the amenities. There were tiles missing and neither the hot tub nor the whirlpool worked at all.
