"The from was recently redone, nice however upon checking in after 230 pm, the desk clerk said “ I am going to upgrade you to a larger room so you don’t have to wait for your room to be done” OK, funny since it was pretty late afternoon and the hotel wasn’t even 50percent full, got to the very nice room. 1st floor in a back corner and street level with our view of the passerby’s not 20 feet from our windows. "Everything was great! The hotel has an excellent location. You can walk everywhere from the hotel or take the bus just steps off the hotel. The hotel provides you with buss passes if needed. The hot tub and fire is great. We went end of April so it was not packed which was nice however most of the lakes were still frozen. Still Banff was magical. "The views of the National Park are incredible. The proximity to the near by bus station made it very easy to travel around Banff."

"Towels were not provided, which made it impossible to shower during my stay. A 4pm check-in is also not reasonable given the cost structure. This is not a nightly rate—you are effectively paying hourly. I checked in at 4pm as required and left at 5am, resulting in a 13-hour stay that did not reflect the price paid. In my view, the latest check-in should be 2pm, and basic amenities such as towels should be provided as a standard requirement anywhere in the world."

"The otter was a very nice quiet and comfortable property. It’s close enough to downtown area and far away enough from the crowds. The convenient bus pass they give you is a nice perk, quick bus ride without car hassles. The hot tub was fabulous and I slept like a rock in the bed which I found very comfortable. I also liked the tea kettle and slightly larger frig in the room. The breakfast in the restaurant was really good. I’m glad I chose the otter."

"Everything was great here, staff were super helpful. So conveniently located for banff NP and can walk to downtown area where all the shops and restaurants are at. Room was super clean. Get great amenities like being able to use the pool/ hot tub for the hotel next door and they give you tea, hot chocolate or coffee to for you to make. Great place and will definitely stay here again when we come back!"
