Not a terrible smell, more of a mustiness from the AC/Heat not being on for a while. The room was a non-smoking room, but the couch had an odor of cigarette smoke; I only noticed it when I laid out on it for a bit. "The staff was awesome! The room was very clean and had all of the amenities I needed. I had a microwave, small refrigerator and ice was available too. There were many places in the room to plug in my electronics. The TV offered more channels than I have ever seen in a hotel. I was able to park right in front of my room. When making my appointment, I asked a member of the staff if I could get a bottom floor room and he was very nice to provide me with one. I highly recommend this hotel to others...

"Wildwood Resort is an excellent place offering peace and quiet just don't go there in their offseason. A major drawback is the resort does not have any backup power such as a generator for IF the power goes out. During my stay there was a cold, windy,, rainy storm and the electricity went out and was out all night it was very cold in the 30's outside and it got very cold in my unit. I went to the office and a note was on the door saying that the staff had left early. There was no one available...
