"Hotel is huge. The ski in and ski out is positive, the onsen is good, but I don’t think it is a natural hot spring as they claimed to be in north building. The room is just average at best, the toilet room smells bad, that shows the staff doesn’t clean well. The hotel has a few restaurants, but their food all very mediocre. The breakfast buffet is very crowded, don’t understand why they can’t not open the other restaurant place for breakfast too. The on-site ski rental place is twice expensive as the outside rental store just about 5 minutes away. And the staff there is so bad, the ones in the premium rental store are just sitting there staring at you as if they are the customers. Overall, this is not a hotel with good service. But they have the monopoly in the resort. They know people don’t have choice, but keep coming. "

"Very clean hotel and staff were great. I stayed in the supreme pods which great but with a few exceptions. My main issue is that the matresses are soo hard, you may as well sleep on the floor. I had to buy a matress topper at DCM which was definitely worth it as it made it more tolerable. The other issue is noise, i could deal with nearby snoring etc but some people would make no effort to stay quiet and the floors are extremely loud. It is literally impossible to walk quietly down the hallway, even just in socks or slippers. Overall though, its definitely a good place to stay considering how much cheaper it is compared to staying in Hirafu, and the shuttles are great. "

"They have given worst room possible for check in facing car park, asked for change and they asked for room cleaning fee. Totally didn't understand concept "

"It’s a condo, not a hotel. Do not show up without a car, or you run the risk of getting stranded. The shuttle to the ski resort in the morning, and back in the afternoon is decent. But, there is no reliable Uber or taxi service for other times, and you would not want to be outdoors waiting for a bus in the Hokkaido winter. The apartment itself is nice. Just don’t come without a car."

"We stayed in a 8 person bunk room. It was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The price is excellent for Rusutsu and the shuttle bus to the resort was always on time."
