There’s someone available at the front desk 24/7 which is really nice, especially because we had an early departure. The beds were comfy including the sleeper sofa. The shower is to die for. "Great location for visiting Notting Hill. A little pricey for what is essentially minimalist self-service in a trendy wrapper. Like they had his cool budget concept, but forgot to lower the price. ;) More of an Amsterdam Hostel vibe - which is fine if that's what you came for. For a similar price at other London hotels I had helpful staff jumping to assist with check-in, luggage, cabs and what to-do. Not so much here. "I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Kensington. The hotel is just beside the tube and bus lines which was perfect. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout my visit. My room was good overall, although the bathroom was a little small, and the shower door didn’t seem to be built properly since water would easily leak out. "This hotel had some definite pluses and minuses. Pluses were free laundry, good breakfast, friendly staff, supermarket across the street, kitchen, comfy beds and pillows, Seating area, good gym. Internet was good. Minuses- hotel is tired. Needs a good refresh. Broken tiles in the bathroom and coffee table was patched back together. When breakfast was busy it was not clean! Staff just dusted the crumbs off the table not cleaning it properly. Busy times needed more help to clean tables. Elevators...
