"Room is very basic, o.k. for a one night stay. Convenient that a shuttle picks up from the hotel to LHR. They have a kettle in the room but no tea bag. When I asked at reception, they charge £4 for a teabag."

"Nicely styled hotel and very convenient location. I stayed in a classic room which looked nice but had some impracticalities. The temperature can not be controlled from inside the room and was set too warm for me. The reception staff adjusted this for me, but it only seemed to stay at the requested temperature for a few hours before climbing up again. This meant I couldn’t sleep, so affected my stay. "The breakfast was refreshed on a regular basis which kept it fresh. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The only negative was that there was only one lift in operation as the other was not in use."
