"I would say Bluebeard’s Castle itself is beautiful and has some of the best views on the island. The biggest downside is that St. Thomas has occasional power outages, so the electricity will likely go out at some point during your stay. However, they seem to get it back up and running pretty quickly. A few things to know before booking: only the rooms have air conditioning; the rest of the property does not. The resort is built on a steep hill and has a lot of stairs, so if you have mobility...

"The beach could have a better set up. It’s beautiful but the beach chairs and such are quite old a refresh would draw more outside customers for the beach and bar and restaurant atmosphere. The staff are always amazing we’ve been here a few times and feel welcome by everyone"

"There was no air conditioning in our room due to power outage. We were moved to another room however 2 of our guests had to sleep on the floor and the room next to ours had a leak in the bathroom that came into our room through the night"

"The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that."

"We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay at the Ritz Residences in St. Thomas. Literally every staff member was lovely, the residence’s 3 bedrooms were an ideal setup for our family, the pools, beaches, restaurants, and other amenities were all wonderful. The first vacation in a while where nobody wanted to leave!
