"Enjoyed the amenities and great location 5 min walk to NEC. But had the worse couple of nights there due to noise. First night was what can only be described as a heard of elephants trying to jump into our room, very creaky floorboards and can hear everything through walls. Second night there was a party going on directly below us in the basement… complained about the noise after 10pm sounded like we were sleeping next to the DJ box , thumping music when trying to sleep as up early. "Ordered room service at a late time of the night. Whilst I don’t expect gourmet at 1am it is reasonable to have something edible. £35 for 2 dry panini rolls isn’t really good enough and this could be improved. Also no spa - which should make the 5 star experience better."

"A clean, well kept hotel with wonderfully helpful staff. Lovely food, fabulous drinks. Well situated for events at the NEC and beyond if you don’t mind a taxi or train ride. Fabulous if you want a bit of luxury. Does have underground parking that is more secure than some of the other hotels in the area and around the same price."

"I checked out early due to being unable to use basic facilities like hot water. The rooms were dirty including the bed sheets and people / maintenance were in and out the room all night so any form of sleep was impossible. The staff were extremely unhelpful, have ignored my request for a refund or offered any solutions. I couldn’t reccomend this bleak place less"

"The air con had broken in the hotel during the June 2026 heatwave. We were lied to, told we could move rooms to a working one and weren’t told it had broken everywhere until 11.30pm when returning from a concert. We asked if we could get a refund and were told we could, so at midnight we left and went to find somewhere else. 2 weeks on and I have had no apology, no refund and no acknowledgement of this being dealt with. I’m £244 out of pocket as I had to pay for another hotel. Avoid."

"The Belfry trades heavily on its famous name, but the experience doesn’t justify the premium price. My room was clean but very dated, with no air conditioning and only a noisy fan that made sleeping difficult even before the real issue started. The biggest disappointment was the late-night noise. Guests drinking on the terraces created a constant level of shouting and disturbance that was completely at odds with what you’d expect from a luxury golf resort. I booked expecting a peaceful night...

"This hotel is super convenient to the BP Pulse Live arena for shows but the property wasn’t what I have come to expect from a Hilton property. There is also apparently a night club on site so we could hear the booming base as we were trying to sleep until late into the evening (2-3am)."
