"Absolutely stunning hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and extremely attentive. They represent the hotel very well. We stayed in one of the rooms with a private onsen and the view of the mountains and the river below was wonderful, very peaceful. "This place is over 100 years old and because of that, it has its quirks but I think it adds character to the ryokan experience. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The kaiseki dinner was delicious but it was a lot of food. We had to request to serve us one less meal so we didn’t waste too much. The service and ambiance was great. The onsens were a perfect touch to end our days. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed here as a family of 4 in March 2026. We stayed in a Japanese style room. The room has a toilet and sink but no shower. There are both indoor and outdoor baths however which we enjoyed! The indoor bath change area is a bit small if there are several people using it at the same time. "Rooms are very nice. Dinner was fine, but extra money paid for extra dishes, was a little waste of money, especially the beef dish, which was VERY overpriced!!! Onsen is not big, but quite good. Overall, it was very nice."
