"This was our 2nd stay there. Both times were lakefront. Cabins 2 the first time a couple of years ago, and cabin 8 this time. Love sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. Bring your chairs to sit out there. Staff very friendly and other guests are always cool too."

"Desk staff was great. On site restaurant is where the free breakfast comes in, very good and the waitress is fantastic. Our room however left much to be desired. Old, broken items, loose toilet seat, wallpaper separating from the wall, holes in the carpet and a broken desk chair, but we persevered. We've seen worse. We've stayed here many times but the place is starting to show it's age and is in need of renovations."

At the time of booking, there was no indication that the pool was out of service or that the gym was closed. These are important amenities, and both the hotel and Expedia should ensure that such information is clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation. "First room we were given had hair in the sheets,dirty desk chair and broken tv. We went right back to the front desk requesting a room change. Second room had hair all over the bathroom door, broken phone and alarm clock. A/C was noisy and could barely cool the room. Hallways and stairs were also dirty. Expedia says they offer a free continental breakfast but there was nothing. Would not recommend!"

"I don't like the owner--Scott--he will rip you off every chance he gets. We bought 2 chardonnays in the Hilton connected bar area and was charged $12 each and this was basic wine that costs $8 a bottle at the store. Otherwise, the staff was good. The hotel is in need of repair, and they are working on that. The room price was reasonable."

"No drinking water. Breakfast was microwaved. Pool was empty. Room had a bad smell like a dirty hamper. We had a “Suite”, there was a heater/air conditioner in the back room but no airflow or vents in the front of the suite. The staff was amazing and kind, very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps the owners are new and they just purchased the property…I don’t know. I wish I could give a better review, if it was for the staff only my review would be stellar….but for the price point I was not...

"The room was clean and had all of the basics that you would need…. Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, in room safe and a heating/cooling unit that worked well. We were on the third floor and it was quiet… No road noise and no loud people. The free breakfast was decent and the staff was very helpful. We definitely would stay there again!"
