"An old fashioned hotel with a fabulous brealfast in the old dining room. Lots of open fires.
Unforunately the hotel is built over several levels with lots of creaking stairs . You will need help with your lugguage and it was provided. Hotel can be a bit noisy with the pub across the road and nearby construction. Safety handrails would be useful for getting out of the shower/bath."

"This was my third visit and it’s the reason I return to Scotland. The property is so unique and I always have an amazing time, so much so that I took my nephew from London! The team did a great job looking after us! The lady who checked us in and delivered our breakfast in the morning was a real gem; I can’t remember her name- but she was a genuinely lovely lady and I’m sure it won’t be long until we return!!! "Perfect hotel for my one week stayed in Edinburgh. Two minutes walk to Tram Station to get to downtown. I had a car for my trips outside the city and I was able to park in the Hotel. The cost was 10 pounds per day. The breakfast is the best part and is excellent. The staff and the cleanliness are superior.
I will stay again in this hotel again, is an excellent value."
