"We had a pleasant stay the place was a little run down however the staff were great as was the food, it advertised a candle lit dinner but it was not, there was a pianist playing nice music though, we were a little disappointed at the end of our stay when they didnt tell us about the £35 service charge for the 4 drinks they served thought this was a bit naughty,"

"We loved our experience at the castle. The room was massive with a private bathroom and exploring the castle/grounds was very nice. I found the breakfast a little expensive, but the cafe on site was great. We really enjoyed the lady working the cafe, she was so kind and helpful."

"Great peaceful location (bar the occasional plane but quiet at night), used as a stop on our travels, only 35 minutes from Nantes airport. Staff was nice and room was very clean. Comfortable bed and nice views over the garden. Didn’t get a chance to try the wine but there was lots of choice. Good choice for a continental breakfast. Room was great value for money.
