"Old coaching inn centrally located and within walking distance of all amenities Clean and tidy but a little worn in places. Not for picky travellers but ideal for those seeking a characterful stay. Some great historic features and plenty private parking. Good value and a memorable stay."

"My partner and me stayed for one night. This place has great potential but they need to work on several areas. It was very clean the room was very nice and the air con was spot on. Negatives breakfast. Yes it’s a bonus getting a breakfast in a London hotel but this was very poor. No hot water in morning so no shower which was very very disappointing. No explanation as to why . Barman in evening when we returned after watching London show not particularly receptive . A bit of courtesy...

"Had a great visit, the rooms are small but very comfortable. The location is fantastic with plenty of options to eat. The rooms had AC which was so helpful after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was included so options for continental breakfast or a hot English breakfast. Would stay here again."

"Really nice hotel. Room was really hot but it was a heat wave and probably not a problem most of the time. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially in the pub for dinner and breakfast. Easy access to train station and travel in to London. Was a nice place to stay outside of all the business. Easy access to Stansted airport too. Would definitely stay again."
