"This is a historic inn on a pilgrim’s route. It is not a modern, high rise hotel. Don’t let those expectations diminish your experience here. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The beds are comfortable. There are not a lot of frills and extras here yet that is not what this inn is about. Be aware that the inn is not in town. There is a rather narrow road going to the inn. "There was good parking and the structure of the building was sound. It could’ve been cute but needed severe updated (simply painting the walls.?) It would’ve been nice to know before booking there was no lift and the reception was in a separate building. The bed was comfortable. There was mold in the bathroom."

"The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite."
