"Lovely location in the heart of the Canterbury. The owners are very nice and are attentive and on hand for anything we needed. 10/10 customer service. However the room was a bit run down. Mirror wonky, towel rail coming off the wall and the large bed is broken underneath. It was however a great stopover and introduction to Canterbury."

"We stayed 3 nights in the 2 bedroom Stromoybua cabin at the lodge. A friendly staff at the lodge personally showed us inside of the cabin when we checked in. The cabin is roomy, modern and comfortable. It sits right along the water’s edge of the harbor with great view of the harbor. We were able to step straight out to the dock for a peaceful morning stroll. Breakfast was served in the lodge’s restaurant with great view of the water. "We came in the off season (October)and it was a great value at that time. The staff were helpful and kind! We selected Garnbua and it had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was free. The only downside is the restaurant was closed for the off season."

"Plitvica Lodge is located steps from the national part Plitvica lakes. You go on foot to the part entrance about 10 minutes. Getting there is by car, parking is free, drive cautiously, roads are very narrow. Lodge is in the Alpine lodges style, wooden houses, room was very comfortable and big. Restaurant served breakfast and dinner, Nice simple local food. God wines. We are happy with out stay."
