"The "Guest Experience Fee" (resort fee, which I get _all_ places have) is buried deep at the bottom of the hotel's information page. You receive a 'card' which entitles you to a couple of things (of which we didn't partake) and feel that the $45.90 per night was a little steep. Why not just bundle the $40 fee into the room price and leave it at that? The hotel itself is lovely and in a prime location between Emmy Squared (and a six-cut Miranda) and then Krispy Kreme less than 2 blocks away....

"Room was a little musty smelling and the AC did not work the best. There were a couple of bugs crawling around our bathroom and the coffee shop pastries were old and gross."

"The hotel was very conveniently located just south of Central Park and walkable to everything we wanted to do on our trip. Our room was spacious (by NYC standards), clean, quiet, cool, with good light and a skyline view. We had to request a voucher to get the self-park rate at the local garage, but had no issue when paying for parking and leaving. The total kindly gave us a late check out of 12pm and stored our luggage for free after checkout. It was a pleasant, hassle-free experience."
