"Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . "I did not use restaurant. Although i did use Latte coffee machine 👌. Room was comfortable, bed extremely so👌. All room facilities were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. "

"Parking right next to the hotel, right next door to the service station with Casta, WHsmiths, Mcdonalds and mini Asda at the far end. Inside the room was silent; no traffic noise at all. Beds are comfy, place is clean and tidy and wardrobe space with hamgers provided. Bathroom small but functional, hot water ran quickly and water pressure was good. "Black mould around the bath. Inadequate heating, the radiators didn’t switch on and made the room quite cold. My room tv arial was broken, however the receptionist was very helpful and sourced me another arial cable from another room. "

"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. ...

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "
