"The hotel was just okay. Solid location though, close to transportation and good restaurants. The staff was kind. The room was clean but mattress was a bit firm and sheets were thin. The breakfast provided was just ok to me but my husband liked it."

"Although this isn’t an hotel with an hotel lobby, we didn’t lack of anything. Host Luca is a very friendly and he is so helpful. Clear instructions and many tips for Garbatella and surroundings. Halfway our stay, he checked in with us, if we were happy and needed anything.
The room was very clean and modern and had all that we needed. The shared kitchen also was complete with everything you could need. Metro and busstop within minutes of walking (Colosseo 3 stops away). Supermarket and best...

"This isn't a hotel, it's an apartment as stated. That means more room, more (r)homey vibe and a more private stay. We absolutely loved it. Granted, the information was sparse but communication thru the Hotels.com app worked and (ones we figured it out fully) the door opening-site online worked a charm!
The room was well above standard and very well kept.
The surrounding area is less touristy and more local vibe. Good food, nice atmosphere and way less crowded than more central locations.

"Unlike the 5-star reviews I haven’t got much good to say. The “guest house” is in fact a bedroom in a small condo apt shared with 3 other bedrooms, a common sofa, and small kitchen— even if you did cook, nowhere to eat. Tiny balcony with a mop and ladder on it and ashtray loaded with butts. 15 min walk to subway then 20 minute ride to most attractions in Rome. Noisy upstairs neighbours and barking dog next door. Boring neighborhood with few restos. Worst part of experience was showing up with NO...

"Very centrally located and room was very nice with modern finishes. There was however some noise from adjoining rooms (not sure if its a vent issue?) which was more distracting than the city noise that was coming from outside.
Other than this, the room was very comfortable and spacious and we liked that it was so easy to get to restaurants and sites from this location."

"Very conveniently close to main attractions, quiet, safe location. Very helpful staff, good room size , good breakfast. Good value. Recommend!
Note: if you use a white taxi it drops and picks up from the hotel door; if Uber you must walk about 50 yards.
Hotel can arrange for limo transport at relatively decent price, but you must pay in cash…do the white taxi!"

"We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Horti. As we were driving to the hotel, we were cautiously optimistic because it’s place in the middle of these alleyways sort of a warehouse industry.
When we pulled up, it looks unassuming, but somewhat tropical, and after reject in the layout began to unfold and what a joy and beautiful little property in the heart of Rome.
I can appreciate where it’s located because it is quiet and removed from the major tourism, but about a five minute walk to...
