"Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold."

"Kind and friendly staff. Rooms have AC but no heaters. Laundry rooms kinda scary. Very old equipment. Outdated exterior. Breakfast buffet was just ok it wasn’t worth $28. You can get to the mall from the sky bridge on the 2nd floor that was nice. Pretty views. Property has water fill stations and shops."

"Their laundry was broken when we arrived and when we called the front desk about it they didn’t look into it. The staff will not clean your room unless you request it. When we called the front desk for more towels they did not come and give us any."

"Myself, my husband and my son stayed for 7 nights. We were celebrating my son’s graduation from Stanford. We stayed at the Grand Islander. It was a 10 out of 10 from check-in to check-out. The room was spacious and so clean. We had 2 beds and a sleeper sofa, along with a full kitchen and a balcony with a slight ocean view. Shout out to house keeping who kept our room immaculate.
