"Such a lovely guest house, the interiors were absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring classic period furniture. The bed was very cosy. The bathroom was perfect. The shower was spacious with excellent water pressure. Tasty cooked breakfast. Location was great, about a 20 min walk in to York City Centre. Highly recommend."

Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. "Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained ."

The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York."

"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. "Nice hotel, fairly central, good breakfast buffet, clean and attentive staff. The only challenge is parking but that is the whole city and not the fault of the hotel. There is a nearby parking structure but pricey. If you look around on Google maps you will find other a little further and outside the "center" that are less expensive."

"As a solo female traveller I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I arrived early and was able to leave my bag at the reception, which was then delivered to my room. The room was spacious, well decorated and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and is a stones throw away from the train station all the main attractions. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family."
