"Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. I recommend staying at this hotel."

"Excellent hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very nice size and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or the breakfast, but the gym was very well appointed. The best part is the awesome location. Just blocks away from Tower of London and right next door to the medieval St. Olaf'a church. Highly recommend getting a tour of that as well. Free water in the room. "Room was small but clean with a comfortable bed and big tv. Shower was powerful enough with plenty hot water - slight issue with attachment holding shower head in place as it kept falling down - maybe needs replaced. These rooms always have an issue with hanging clothes. Maybe needs some new ideas for this. Overall though would stay here again."

"Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s. At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?"

"If you enjoy a windowless room with no amenities, carpet beetles in the bed, and no surface to set items upon, book this. I swear the no windows was driving me crazy. It's like Spirit Airlines, where you have to pay for each extra thing. They'll send a nice little What's app before you check in with all the amenities, but they all cost."
