As we came by train we could not go and find a place for breakfast. Staff told us there was a cafe where we could eat 2 minutes up the road, it was not a cafe but a service station that sold hot pies. "Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though."
