I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). "Yotel was a good choice for us to explore London. It is close to the tube and is right on one of the bus lines. The room was a bit small but very nice with a great heater/ac and a very comfortable bed. It was also very quiet. The shower was one of the best we had on our long stay in the UK. The toilet was okay but could use some better ventilation. "

"Staff are always so helpful and friendly. My only one issue on this stay was that the there was a really strong chemical/cleaning smell in the corridor and in our room which was very overpouring, like a sickly strong plug in and quite nauseating. After airing the room it went away slightly and had completely disappeared by the time we got back. "

"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an excuse. If you want everyone to book directly from the hotel site, just dont work with third party agencies in the beginning. Got the standard room checked in at midnight and the furniture is very old. There is pieces of instant noodles and left over vegetables near the sofa. Very bad maintenance for the standard room according to me. The hot shower did not work properly. The pressure is not high enough, hence making the water wont switch to the shower head. "
