"Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff, we only stayed 1 night before an early morning flight from manchester and we wish we could have stayed longer. The room was perfect and a great size, very comfy bed, great decor throughout the property and the food was sublime, we had a sunday roast and breakfast and it was all perfect. We’ll 100% stay here again. 0 complaints."

"Everything about the property especially the staff are superb but its not appropriate not having even a single microwave and a fridge for customers use. Considering people with allergies or from different background would like to bring small portion of their food to refrigerate or warm prior eating. This does not affect the sales from the Indian restaurant and should be provided to attract more clients. Thanks"

"I enjoyed my stay at the Alma Lodge Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was easy to get a late drink at the bar. The breakfast was quite varied and staff checked that items were maintained regularly, unlike in many other hotels I have stayed at in the past. I would be happy to stay at the Alma Lodge again."

"Very well appointed for the price . Thought we had an issue trying to contact hotel to let them know we were going to be late for table reservation at 9pm having driven 5 hours . Phone just kept ringing out . However wonderful bar staff managed to cconjur a meal for us right at 9-20 after kitchen was closed . Excellent service "

"Beautifully clean and appointed accommodation. Host very helpful and friendly. Only criticism is the bed is just a normal double size.. for us we prefer a bigger bed. Lovely seating area by a pond which would have been nice to sit by if the weather had been kinder! Definitely recommend . "
