"Room was very neat and clean. The room was nice and cold due to air conditioning so it was wonderful to return to after a long day. Staff were extremely helpful and willing. Would definitely recommend. Room was a little bit small but you get what you pay for and most rooms in Japan are small. Will be returning !"

"The hotel was about a seven-minute walk from Ueno Station, a major transportation hub. It’s also close to Ameyoko Market, with plenty of food options, and a shopping mall with a Loft store. The area is full of places to eat and shops!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English, which I appreciated. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Pajamas were provided, and I particularly liked the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner."

"Location location location ; the place has great shower with good water pressure ; housekeepers are the best ; staff helpful; if you don’t speak Japanese it’s ok cause the staff speak English & the ones that don’t use a phone translator.. rooms are small but it’s worth it for the proximity to the train both skyliner to airport & subway to all I mean all tourists sites and great sushi and wagu steak; they even hold your luggage if you check out and have a late departure for no additional costs;...

"Water problem the morning we checked out so we ended up having to do cold showers and couldn’t bathe our baby. Not really the property’s fault, but there was no communication about it unless you went down to the lobby to ask. Otherwise, fine stay and close to the train station and Ueno Park and Zoo!"

"Good location and useful in-room amenities, but very tight for 3 adults
We stayed at Hotel Aima with three adults. The hotel photos do accurately show the room layout, but we were still surprised by how compact the room felt in person. The room seems very well suited to two double beds, but with an additional double bed for the third person, the space becomes quite tight. The extra bed was right against the desk, and since I needed to use the desk for work, I had to leave the desk area and push...
