"First time staying and we were impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a bath in our family room would have been better for our younger children. The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Great for both adults and children. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. "

"Walked in room wasn’t ready offered to sit in the bar and wait. It was like going back to the 80s Butlins style. Dated hotel nothing warm and friendly and very dated & gloomy reception area was clinical and hospital like! Walked through the bar and out of the exit. Got into car and didn’t go back. Such a shame as had booked for a surprise for my husbands birthday. So dissatisfied. People who say first impressions count well this did and disappointed! Lost the money I had paid! Have travelled so...

"Amazing property, located just 5 mins walk from the Ipswich Railway Station. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, delicious breakfast and an amazing breakfast."

"A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. "

"was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

"Fan went off every 20 seconds during the night, wasn’t aircon as that was switched off so not sure what it was but kept me awake all night. Door didn’t lock properly when vacating the room. Tried about ten times. Eventually got it to lock, but when I was inside the room had to put a chair against the door as I was unsure if it was locked from outside as I was a lone female traveller. Normally stay here for work but won’t be staying again. "
