"The staff are so helpful and the breakfast are so hearty. Great choice to stay outside of Edinburgh and great value for money. Catch the X55 bus just a short walk down the road to the bus terminal in the heart of Edinburgh. The X55 is wheel chair equipped as well. There is a superb fish and chip shop next door with Pizzas as well. The selection is fantastic and portions are huge."

"This is a hidden gem. Yes, it is a shared bathroom, and as an American that was strange to me, but it was a private one and well maintained, with toiletries provided. My bedroom had a sink which was also useful. It's <10 minutes walking to the train station which is also nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating when I needed to leave my luggage with them after checkout"

"We did not care for the property at all. They would not store one piece of luggage for one day on the day before we checked in. The front desk personnel was very rude and unhelpful. Room was small and dark. You could not adjust the heat or cooling. You got what they had the whole hotel set at. Also had a motion detector light under the bed which we could not figure out how to turn off and every time you moved in the room, it went on. Very annoying. Could only open the window about 1 inch. Lobby...

The room was very outdated, with old carpet and the shower valve was broken or something because the water came half out the shower and half out the bath spout. The breakfast was great and the location to shopping outlets was also nice. The beds were comfortable enough. I would stay here again, but if you are looking for modern or nice looking this hotel doesn’t impress."
