"A very pleasant suite for a single older person with easy access to all facilities. Perfect for a short stay. I especially liked the bedside table with inclusive sockets for device charging. A smaller kettle to get access to tap would be good though necessity is the mother of invention. Bed was comfortable and suitable for a tall person. Excellent modern shower unit."

"So, having explained an irritating medical condition I had and asked if it would be okay to use the charging bay without charging, the front counter assistant said it would be fine. I have now received a fine for £100 for using it. The breakfast was at best okay. but I certainly would not pay for it a 2nd time. It’s centrally based and advertised parking, while also taking away 4 of the parking spaces for charging, which are frequently not in use."

"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

"the room was very comfortable had everything you could ever need. Jan and mark welcomed us into their home for breakfast every day very patient as we were late risers. They went way beyond normal hospitality drove us to the beginning of the water meadow walk in Salisbury and wrote out the. route for a drive through the new forest. We were staying for 5 nights wished it was longer as we were made to feel at home immediately on arrival. If only all holiday owners were like them. There was a bus...

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Salisbury. The room was very pleasant, the bar staff and reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent."

"Our room decor was very tired and tatty, the shower was no more than warm, the plug in the sink was broken and the shower had no hand held wand so you had to get wet all over. The bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok."

"Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend"
