"The room was really well laid out and had a lot of character in terms of the internal design etc. Really convenient appliances such as the clothing steamer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove. I only used the steamer though. Location is great. Access to banks, restaurants, pharmacy is quite good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really good stay at an amazingly affordable price."

"We had the most charming state in Georgetown. The Poppy is clean, warm, welcoming, and inviting. Check in and check out was a breeze. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was essentially located to everything in Georgetown and downtown DC. It was quiet and the beds were super comfortable. I hope to be back again."
