"First of all, I want to start with the fact that the experience manager luis, front desk Andrei, customer guide margarita, were all very very helpful and worked to make our experience as good as it could be.
But after finishing out our vacation, I can’t help but say that was not the experience we expected or wanted as our baby moon.
1. When you walk in, you are almost forced into a breakfast with the Premium Tour Group to listen to their pitch. It happens so quick after check in, that they make it seem like it’s part of the service. But it’s not. They were nice, but felt like a waste of our time.
2. They rejected our entry to a mexican casual restaurant because I was wearing Oofos sandals. My wife was wearing the exact same pair but they said she was fine, but it wasn’t for me. Then they proceeded to let three couples go in without even checking their footwear, which they were wearing nike flip flops, adidas slides, and another pair of flip flops. This led to us going up to the front desk, complain, and at that point it wasn’t even worth it. The experience manager luis did his best to accommodate us but that host from the mexican restaurant at 4/30, I don’t know what her name is but was fairly large in stature, I can’t help but say she was discriminating us and was inconsistent with her “dress code”
3. Their rooms are VERY humid. The pillows are damp the whole time.
4. The staff just comes in without knocking.
All things considered, we will look elsewhere from now on"
