"Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. "James and Hansel were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and helpful, the property itself is in a great location and has a charming character, rooms were clean and tidy and very spacious. Communication was excellent, I would stay again and recommend "

"No Ventilation in toilets not even the room was. No tv. No remote controller was present for tele. Facilities like microwave or freezer either common or share should provided. Voices and noises from next rooms were disturbing."

"Had to click on something to get to this part of the review. Never actually stayed at the hotel, but spoke to a lady called Catherine who was brilliant! We had to cancel due to family commitments, but good old Expedia wouldn’t refund as they said I was too late to do as, but I took out the cancellation cover with them which said I could cancel up to the 3/5, but they thought different. I will never use Expedia again. You need to speak to people not robots!!"

"Beeping smoke alarm which we had to sort out ourselves, kitchen door off hinges, toilet seat not fixed properly , bathroom door handle missing I do not expect to have to go searching for the electrical fuse box to turn the smoke alarms on. Location was great for our family party in Digbeth, shower was brilliant, place was clean and was quite decent apart from the issues listed above "

"Pretty functional airport hotel. I’d say Hilton but stripped back. I didn’t have any mineral water left in my room which I would think was pretty standard for this level of hotel. It felt pretty basic. Bed was hard but I don’t really mind that. Staff were very professional. Bar staff engaging and welcoming but overall the hotel felt pretty soulless.
