"The staff at the Ragged Robin were delightful, always helping out and answering any questions we had. Shout out to Harrison for being so welcoming! We truly enjoyed our stay and loved enjoying a non alcoholic draft beer in the garden overlooking the canal. Truly a beautiful place to unwind. We will be back!"

"Stayed at the Percy hotel whilst on business and have to say the room and facilities were excellent. One standout was the restaurant which I dined in on both evenings. Speciality is the steaks and the Tuesday steak offer where I had a 16oz rump which I gave to say was the best cut of meat I have had in a very longtime. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high. "Friendly welcome, pleasant staff. Check in was seamless. Arranged us a nice table in the restaurant and as it was a birthday celebration, a free main and dessert. Room decor was nice as was the bathroom. The outlook was a bit dismal ie brick wall but we were only in there to sleep for one night. Location was great, very central for everything. Breakfast was ok."

The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. "Staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay. Room was impeccably clean and breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was staff were sometimes a little slow getting to us to order cooked breakfast meaning we had to miss out on the one day because we had an impatient toddler. We also had dinner on our first night and it was lush."

"There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"
