"We spent two nights recently at the Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi in Tokyo prior to going on a cruise. The hotel was in a great location right by Tokyo's main train station (also near to the Emperor's Palace area), and is located on the top several floors of a taller building. We had great views of the city from our room, enjoyed meals at the restaurant (also - great views), and were able to get to various parts of the city we wanted to see easily. The hotel was relatively cost effective as well, and the staff was very helpful. Highly recommended."

"Good quiet location that has plenty of transport options. The rooms are spacious for Japanese options. Friendly staff that will assist with Yamato luggage transport."

"Convenient location close to train and dining. Staff was very helpful but English was a challenge for some of them. Concierge was helpful but sent us to an attraction on a day it was closed. Had we checked ourselves we would have seen that it was always closed on that day of the week. "

The area is a little on the quiet side - not so much to do, but it's nice to come back to somewhere which isn't so crazy and busy every night. It's very well connected to get to other parts of Tokyo.
