"We were greeted by a warm welcome and an earlier check in by 2 hours which was really appreciated. Near the reception area they had an activities section geared for kids. The rooms are clean and spacious. All the kitchen facilities if you choose to use them. Good for families. Be aware that this place is situated in Ningyocho and not Nihombashi. Not that it was a bad thing, but whilst Nihombashi is close to Tokyo station, Ningyocho is an extra 10-15 minute walk away. Having said that, we've...

"They don't want to clean your room and it happened twice"

"The hotel was very clean. The staff, especially in the evening was extremely nice. The hallways were extremely hot. The air conditioning in my room was unreliable. There were no windows available to be opened so even though the room got very hot and the air conditioning was spotty, the cooler outside couldn’t be let in. The bidet water was scolding hot and couldn’t be used the entire visit."

"It is conveniently located. We walked to most places including Ueno Park, Hamarikyu Garden, Tokyo Station, JR Shin-nihonbashi Station from which you can go to Narita Airport, Tokyo Station, Yokohama, Kamakura, Yokosuka...Free breakfast service and free cocktail hours are unique. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Our room is a bit too small for two people to relax but most of hotels in Tokyo are like that. Otherwise it is an excellent hotel."

"Room was great for a family with kids. Only downside, the lobby is not staffed and the room had a very bright exit light making it very hard to sleep as the room doesn’t really get dark "

"We just stayed at the Citan Hostel for 3 days and had a great time! Nice basic, comfortable accommodation. The hostel was spotlessly clean, comfortable and centrally located for everything we wanted to see. In addition the staff were absolutely wonderful!"

"Impeccable service (not surprising for Japan) and we got upgraded to a corner room which was very spacious for 2 people. Bed was comfortable and water pressure was great. Ideal location right outside Tokyo Station (north side) and short walk to the imperial palace. Wish I stayed there longer. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only two stops from tokyo station yet so quiet. Excellent location for shops including a local supermarket and the chain ones. Plenty places to eat. Also no change on subway to the airport and great links for local trains around tokyo itself.I came back and stayed here on my last night as I liked it so much."
