"Centrally located, great customer service, clean. The reason is not a 5 star for me is because of the smell in the corridor, bathroom and room. The carpet in the corridor are run down and the fact that the cleaning staff throws everything on the floor, dirty towels, sheets and garbage every day while cleaning is a bit no no for me. "

"The location is excellent, right next to the subway station, and the facilities and amenities in the room are very complete. The only issue is that the bed is too soft, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, the duvet is quite thick and warm, so I often wake up during the night feeling too hot"

Bed size at least as large as a full where my wife and I had room to stretch (i'm 6' tall), right firmness (wife did not get back problems, and room size was almost 50% larger than cheap business hotel. Only about 20meters to a Ueno Sta. exit (forgot exit#). Short walk to Ameyokocho for food, shopping and Ueno Patk. Front Desk and cleaning staff very helpful."
