"This hotel is very tired in the rooms and bathroom especially. The items provided in the room were poor and small quantities. Ie coffee and tea facilities. The towels were too small. The staff were very tight with requests. Could not get a coffee at breakfast (said happy to pay and still refused) as I had to pay for a whole breakfast I didn’t want. I asked for water and only allowed me to take water from the jug as I was a guest. Breakfast was poor and limited choice. Expensive in respect of what was offered. Hence not wanting it."

"Location is convenient with a metro station and a Family mart next door to the property. A larger supermarket is within a short walking distance too. Many restaurants options nearby. Great breakfast at the property. Very polite and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay!!"

"You cannot beat the price for this hotel/apartment. It had everything we needed, was clean, and spacious...and exactly as pictured on the site. The only downside (which is very minor) is that the check-in is at a separate location, which is in walking distance of Kyoto station, which is where you will most likely be arriving anyway. The staff was SUPER kind and friendly - and they shuttle you right to your apartment/hotel suite, which is great and the building we were in was modern, clean and fantastic. This is a great find for the most reasonable price we booked in Japan."

"All in all, excellent! Choice of Western style breakfast on 1st floor or Japanese on the 2nd. Good walking access to the palace park and the old market street and new shops."
