"Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy! The staff made the stay much more than expected. They became like family. They were very attentive and patient with us through the language variances. The chef Chickie was excellent and would alter the menu as requested. Anna the housekeeper went beyond to ensure things were cleaned. Moises and Gleni also were over the top in providing the utmost service. The property is not on the beach (they have a shuttle daily) but in a safe area. I would walk the streets as people were going to and coming from work. I will go back! "

"I was checked into a dirty room and, when I went to front desk, I was sent to a guest services that had me waiting over an hour because the person who assisted me didn't provide the appropriate guidance to rectify the situation. They offered a deep clean of my room. Housekeeping stopped by but didn't do the deep clean, instead a quick wipe here and there. They offered to change my room the following day but I was only there for 2 days so that offer didn't make sense. They explained that no refund or discounts could be applied for the inconvenience so I was stuck with this situation and eager to leave. Bottom line, my vacation started off on the wrong foot and I was only there for 2 nights so I barely got to enjoy my time there. As I explained to the staff, this will be my first and last time vacationing here. "

"Room was excellent, view to the beach! Shower was spacious, and bed was comfortable. Overall, the staff was friendly, attentive and was a good experience. Restaurant food was good too. "

"Very friendly staff. Very kid friendly. Beachfront is INCREDIBLE! Kids loved playing in the waves and watching the kite boarders. The hotel’s friendly cats along the paths were also a hit with all the guests. Room was clean but showing signs of wear and tear. Minor things like the phone didn’t work for 5 days, curtains barely moving. Lots of great restaurants to try only 5-10 minute walk along the beach into Cabarete. "

"THE BAR STUFF TRIED THE BEST WITH WHAT THEY GOT. ROOMS AIRCONDITION WORKED FINE.IT WAS NOT HOT AT THE TIME MY FREND AND I WERE THERE.IT'S ALL ABOUTH THE MONEY THERE. OUT FRIDGE IN THE ROOM WAS EMPTY. I NEEDED TO COMPLAIN FOR 3 DAYS FOR ANGIE TO SEND SOME WATER AND BEER.SAME THINK WITH THE ROOM CLEANNING. I NEED TO ASK."

"The resort is on the smaller side designed similarly to a shopping center, with everything (restaurants, bars and nightlife) centered around the two pools. The bar staff is very friendly even if you don't tip them which isn't always the case in the DR (which was very nice to see). The Wi-Fi is weak when not in the front desk/lobby area, so plan accordingly if you need to work or need steady service. The front desk/check-in process was easy, dinner reservations have to be made either on the app or the reservation office around the corner from the front desk. The buffet is limited and very repeated, so we recommend making dinner reservations as much as you can. They were good! When sitting to eat at the buffet, its first come, first, serve and a bit of a free for all as opposed to someone sitting you like at other resorts, so better to plan when it's not the busiest of times. Guests get up early and put beach towels on chairs around the beach and pool whether they're there or not, so be ready to do the same (super annoying). The towels process is pretty pointless. The maid replaces a towel on a 1:1 basis, but if the towel is on a chair then she won't replace it so you essentially use the same beach towel the entire time you're there. Shower towels were replaced more often and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. Our maid was VERY nice and we made sure we tipped at the end!"
