"This is a cute boutique hotel in the midst of bigger, fancier hotels. Very clean, and incredibly helpful staff, and they've thought of everything that might be useful in a small hotel room (coffee maker, coffee, microwave, mini-fridge, closet and drawers, etc.) My only small complaint is that it feels like a strange place to save money to ration water in a town where the drinking water is unsafe--I would encourage them to reconsider that. "We rented the penthouse (Del Sol) in the ‘offseason’ (July) for a 4 night stay. First, the views from our suite were INCREDIBLE and the way the room was decorated made the stay feel warm and welcoming. The bonus was our own hot tub on the large balcony. "Third time staying at Vallarta Shores. We had a large group with kids and they all loved it. Penthouse was fantastic and proximity to the beach is great. At the end of the beach so you will have to walk or uber if you want to head into town but we enjoy walking off the great food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone who wants a small hotel vibe."
